Thanks to Melissa Killpack (One of Dr. Jensen's assistants)
we now know the meaning of spirit as last Saturday she showed how much fun a parade can be with the right attitude and attire. We had so much fun doing the Pony Express Eagle Mountain Parade. We handed out these yellow styrofoam cowboy hats that had "Smile Ranch Braces" on the front.

We loaded up Shuana's truck with 500 hats, 100 "Smile Ranch" t-shirts and tooth brushes and thought we would be set, however after the parade started and there were at least 50 or more kids running up to us within the first 3 steps, none of which found the thought of a new toothbrush appealing, we knew that we had underestimated our supply vs. the demand.
After we were done we thought about how much fun it was to see all the little kids and how excited they were to get a hat and we were so surprised how quickly the Eagle Mountain area had developed. Thanks for all who came out and supported and are "sporting" our stylish yellow cowboy hats. We are doing the Lehi parade on June 26 at 10:00 a.m. if any of you guys would like to come cheer us on, or even be in the parade give us a call at 801-768-2100, or in light of our new blogging post something on our blog.
Despite the fun we had at our parade the real reason we are doing the blog is to pay tribute to our wonderful patients who we love and think are wonderful. Whenever you get your braces on or off you get a little VIP section in this blog so that you know that through the journey you did or will take with us to improve your smile, has meant more to us than you know. So let's begin...
Derek Fisher got his braces on June 3. We are so happy to get to know him. Derek is a special 11 year old boy who is so helpful to him mom and very congenial to anyone that he meets. Way tough too as he didn't even cry when we worked on him and he was very patient.
Tyler Woolstenhulme got his braces on June 8. He plays tennis, swims, wakeboards,
you name it he can probably do it, on top of being a prime time student. He is 13 and taller than the majority of the girls in the office. I'm sure its nice to know people look up to him in more than one way.
Jay Patel got his braces off on June 7. He was only in them for about one year way to go Jay, you are going to win many ladies over when you strike up that new smile.
Brooke Parkinson got her braces off on June 8. She is 13 years old and a cheerleader. Such a fun loving girl who knows how to goof around and have fun. We look forward to seeing her at her annual retainer check ups.
Cally Gregory got her braces off on June 9. We are so excited for her to smile away as she attends alta. You are beautiful girl.
